Erica Guzman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She earned her master’s degree in social work from Stephen F. Austin State University. She brings over 15 years of experience working with children and families who are survivors of domestic violence. She led and provided school-based mental health services. In addition, she has worked providing mental health counseling to English and Spanish speaking youth, particularly those navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD and suicidal ideation.

Her approach is rooted in empathy, connection, and evidence-based practices that include Client-Centered , Solution-Focused and Cognitive Behavioral Therapies. She is passionate about creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where young people feel seen, heard, and empowered to heal and grow. She believes in meeting clients where they are and working collaboratively to build the tools they need to thrive.

Anna Thomas is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience working with children, adolescents, and families navigating complex life experiences. Her background includes supporting children from hard places, as well as working closely with foster, adoptive, and biological families through seasons of transition, trauma, and healing.

Anna earned her Master’s in Education from LeTourneau University in 2010. She earned her Master’s of Art in Counseling from LeTourneau University in 2014. She brings a wealth of knowledge in trauma informed care and helping children and families work though that trauma. She is compassionate about the children and families she works with and wants to help them become their best selves.

Rachel earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from LeTourneau University in 2023. She brings a compassionate and creative approach to therapy, often incorporating art, music, and play to help clients express themselves in meaningful ways. Rachel is passionate about creating a safe, nurturing environment where clients of all ages can feel seen, heard, and supported.

Madison Wilson is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in areas such as trauma/PTSD/C-PTSD, emotion dysregulation, attachment/codependency, and anxiety/depression. She enjoys being with people as they work through and heal from difficult life experiences by offering a space of safety, trust, and compassion and ultimately helping them to live more authentically.

Madison earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2023. Her approach to therapy blends techniques from EMDR, attachment and nervous system science, art, and play to help people transform their lives from being stuck to experiencing themselves and the world around them with freedom, connection, and from a place of self-trust.

Emily Powell is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over two years of experience working with children, individuals, and families who have experienced domestic violence and sexual assault. Emily earned her Master of Social Work from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2024 and began her career as a mental health counselor at a domestic violence shelter in Tyler, TX. She utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches, including EMDR, DBT, and TF-CBT, to support clients in their healing journeys.

Emily is passionate about working in the nonprofit sector and providing accessible, free and low-cost mental health services to her community. Currently, at Hope Haven Family Solutions, Emily serves as the Behavior Support Manager, where she provides behavior support to children and adolescents while overseeing the Behavior Support Coordinators. Emily is passionate about helping others find hope after trauma and walking alongside clients through life’s challenges. She takes a strengths-based approach to her work and believes that each client is the expert in their own life.

Jennifer Davis is a behavioral support coordinator who brings a strong background supporting foster children and families impacted by trauma. Skilled in developing individualized behavioral support strategies, prompting emotional regulation, strengthening family relationships, and connecting families with community resources.

Jennifer is compassionate and dedicated to creating safe, supportive environments where children can build resilience, develop positive coping skills, and achieve meaningful progress.

Kaylee Ray

Behavior Support Coordinator/Counseling Intern

Kaylee Ray is a clinical mental health counseling intern completing her Master’s degree at Texas Tech Health & Sciences Center. She currently provides direct behavioral support to foster-care clients by teaching new behavioral skills, such as coping mechanisms and anger management. She often uses creative interventions, such as art or crafts, during behavior sessions.

Her approach to achieving behavioral goals is to create a non-judgmental, safe, and supportive environment that allows clients to grow. She works to build positive relationships with the clients while also being a positive adult figure in their lives.
